Instructions:

Step NO 01:

Making vanilla-flavored cream for pastries. Take a pan, add two cups of whole milk (full fat) and one cup of vanilla bean (or two teaspoons of vanilla extract), and cook on medium flame until it just begins to simmer ( if you are using vanilla beans, remove the pan from the stove and take aside for fifteen minutes to soaked the milk, then remove the vanilla bean pod.

Take a bowl, add six egg yolks and half a cup of granulated sugar, whisk together until pale and smooth, then add one-fourth cup of cornstarch and whisk until well combined. Pour half a cup of hot vanilla-flavored milk into the egg yolk mixture; this tempers the eggs and prevents them from scrambling. Pour the tempered egg mixture into the remaining vanilla-flavored milk.

Cook the vanilla-flavored milk and tempered eggs mixture on medium to low flame, whisking continuously until the mixture thickens and comes into cream form and begins to bubble. When bubbles form in the mixture, continue to cook for another minute, then remove from stove.

Add two tablespoons of unsalted butter to the cream mixture and whisk until the butter is melted and smooth. Use a fine mesh to remove any lumps. Cover the surface of the bowl with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming. And finally, put the cream in the refrigerator for at least two hours before using. Now, your vanilla-flavored cream for pastries is ready to use in your recipe.

Step NO 02:

Making pastry base. Take a large bowl, add two cups of all-purpose flour ( or 250g ) and a Pinch of salt Gradually add the six tablespoons of ice-cold water, half a cup of cold butter, (cubed 125g) a tablespoon at a time, and mix all ingredients but mix until the dough just comes together. Don’t overmix all the ingredients. and bake the dough as a base for vanilla-flavored pastry.

Step NO 03:

Finally, making vanilla-flavored pastries. Assembling the cream and base (or you can use vanilla cake as the base for vanilla-flavored pastries), cut the base into medium and apply a thin layer of vanilla-flavored cream which you made by your self and then put upper layer of base on this cream layer and again apply vanilla-flavored cream on the upper side of base then your vanilla-flavored pastry is ready. You can add whipped vanilla cream, fruit, and other toppings, according to your choice of many variations of vanilla pastries.

Step NO 04:
