Ingredients

Ingredient for the dough:

  • 2 cup of milk powder
  • teaspoon baking powder
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • cup milk, or as needed
  • cup ghee, melted
  • teaspoon cardamom powder

ingredient for sugar syrup:

  • 2 cup water
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

Instructions

Step NO 01:

Make the dough: take a large bowl add all-purpose flour, milk powder, baking powder, and cardamom powder and now whisk together. Then add melted ghee and mix. Pour milk slowly for a soft dough and press the dough with your hands and fingers until smooth. If your dough is dry and hard, add a little more milk. If it’s too soupy, add a little more all-purpose flour.

Step NO 02:

Make sugar syrup: Take a pan and add water, sugar, and cardamom powder on a low to medium flame to bring a boil gently to make bubbles for 15 minutes or unless the syrup thickens a little now add lemon juice and then set aside

Step NO 03:

Shape gulab jamun: Grease your hands with ghee and then take a little part of the dough and roll it in the shape of a ball repeat the same process with the remaining dough. If your sugar syrup becomes too thick, add a little more amount of water.

Step NO 04:

Fry gulab jamuns: take a large pan and pour the oil into the pan. Heat oil on medium flame. carefully put the gulab jamuns ball into a heated oil and then fry unless golden brown stir occasionally while the gulab jamuns is cooking

Step NO 05:

Dip gulab jamuns into the syrup: put out the fried gulab jamuns carefully from the heated oil and instantly dip in the warm sugar syrup for at least 30 – 35 minutes or unless the gulab jamuns absorb the sugar syrup and become soft and juicy.

Step NO 06:

Garnish the gulab jamuns: Now put out the gulab jamuns from the sugar syrup and garnish with the chopped almonds and pistachios

Step NO 07:

serve: serve the chilled or warm world’s best gulab jamuns who love everyone. For more flavor, you can add saffron powder to the sugar syrup.

Tips:

  1. If you want more flavor in gulab jamun you can use khoya.
  2. At the time of making balls make sure all balls are the same size.
  3. If the syrup of Gulab Jamun is too thick then add a little water to the syrup.
  4. You can use saffron as an amazing color for your dessert.
  5. For a more tasteful dessert, you can add a few drops of rose water to the syrup.
